Police look for men who robbed 11-year-old at gunpoint in Glen Burnie

WASHINGTON — Anne Arundel County police are looking for two men who robbed an 11-year-old boy at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon and forced him to the ground.

Police responded to an apartment complex on Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie around 3 p.m. Wednesday where the child claims two masked men approached him as he was leaving the apartment where he lives.

The child said the men showed him a handgun and forced him down to the ground, according to police. The two men then took the boy’s shoes, backpack and house keys before running off into the nearby woods.

Police described the suspects as two black men between 18 and 20 years old. One of the suspects was about 5-foot-8 inches tall and the other 6-foot-3.

Police searched the area around the apartment with K9’s, but came up with nothing.
