WASHINGTON – One person has died in a house fire in Severn, Maryland, early Thursday morning.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says that the one-alarm fire started around 3:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of Old Camp Meade Road.
As of 7 a.m., the fire was under control, but still not out. Firefighters are expected to remain on the scene for several more hours because of structural damage to the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
