Va. hospital locked down after threat

WASHINGTON — A hospital in Anne Arundel County was on a modified lockdown Tuesday afternoon after a person in the ER made a threat, according to the hospital.

Anne Arundel Medical Center says an “individual in our Emergency Department” made the threat. As a result, police and security officers are stationed at hospital entrances monitoring those coming in and out.

All patient care is fully operational.
