WASHINGTON — The Mt. Vernon Antique Center in Alexandria, Virginia, caught fire and then partially collapsed Christmas evening.
The fire engulfed the antique center, located at 8101 Richmond Highway, around 9:30 p.m.
The blaze started on the second floor of the antique center, according to WJLA. Afterward, the second floor collapsed.
As a result of the fire, northbound Richmond Highway was closed until early Tuesday.
There were no reported injuries.
