WASHINGTON — Police have arrested a second person in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Leon Williams of Alexandria last October.

Bolar was being held without bail in the William G. Truesdale Detention Center in Alexandria, Virginia, the release said.

Brian Bolar, 26, of Dumfries was the first man charged in the homicide earlier this year. Police said the men were related to each other but were unable to provide more details.

Williams was shot at around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 7, 2015 on Belle Pre Way in Alexandria. He later died at the hospital.
