WASHINGTON — An additional charge of sexual battery was brought Wednesday against Nicholas Currie, 25, who was formerly employed as a massage therapist in Alexandria, Fairfax County police say.
The female victim, 25, told police that Currie had allegedly touched her inappropriately last December and reported the incident on June 25 after learning about the first case released on June 2 against the Alexandria man.
Like the first reported victim, the woman went to Massage Envy, located at 6465 Old Beulah St. in Alexandria, where she alleged Currie had inappropriately touched her, an investigation revealed. She did not require medical attention.
Earlier in May, Currie had been charged with sexual battery for an incident on May 8 where a 36-year-old woman alleged that Currie had inappropriately touched her during a session at Massage Envy.
Police got a warrant charging Currie for the second time with sexual battery on Tuesday and Currie turned himself in Wednesday morning at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where the warrant was served.
