Metro police look for 3 men involved in woman’s sexual assault

WASHINGTON — Metro Transit Police seek three persons of interest for a woman’s sexual assault that took place Thursday night aboard a northbound Yellow Line train from Huntington Station.

According to the victim’s account, three men approached her around 9:30 p.m. Thursday and asked her to perform a sexual act as the train traveled between Eisenhower Avenue and Braddock Road stations in Alexandria, Virginia. After she refused, the suspects assaulted her.

She quickly reported her assault to Metro police who were able to identify the three suspects using the train’s camera systems. The victim refused medical help and was escorted home by Metro police.

No arrests have been made yet.
