WASHINGTON — Police have peacefully resolved a barricade situation in Alexandria, Virginia.
A police spokeswoman says it happened in the 2100 block of Jamieson Avenue, near the U.S. District Court Sunday night into Monday morning. The situation was resolved around 4 a.m., and police said the subject was in custody.
An active warrant was being served Sunday evening, according to police.
People in the immediate area were told to stay in place.
No additional information has been released at this time.
