Prince William County police ask for help finding missing, endangered 18-year-old

WASHINGTON — Police in Prince William County, Virginia, are asking for help finding a missing, endangered woman.

Police say 18-year-old Ashiya Mincey ran from her family on Wednesday in the area of Sentara Hospital on Opitz Boulevard in Woodbridge. Mincey may be in need of assistance, which police say qualifies her as being “endangered.”

Police believe she is most likely on foot.

Mincey is described as standing 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, white and black leggings and pink and white tennis shoes.
