WASHINGTON – Say hello to Hobbit, a 2-year-old male Chihuahua mix.
This cute little guy can be a bit timid initially with new people and in new environments, but give him a little time and his inner social butterfly will emerge.
Hobbit is an all- around type of dog: He’s smart, energetic and affectionate. Small children intimidate him so he’s looking for a more mature family that will play with him, cuddle with him and maybe even teach him some tricks.
In return, he’ll shower them with affection. Hobbit is currently being treated for heartworm, which means his physical activities should be strictly limited until treatment is completed in September.
WTOP Living is partnering with the Washington Animal Rescue League to feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption. For more information about Cat Fish, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 202-726-2556 ext. 503.
