WASHINGTON — Firefighters are standing by at the scene of a fire in Gaithersburg, Maryland, overnight.

The fire, which is now contained, started around 7 p.m. Tuesday at Babble Brook Farm on Damascus Road.

No one was hurt, but Montgomery County fire officials say damage totals more than $250,000. A structure was destroyed, in addition to vehicles, equipment and large hay bales that were in the building.

Firefighters plan to remain on the scene overnight to monitor the fire.
