2.2 magnitude earthquake rumbles through Maryland

WASHINGTON– A low-magnitude earthquake hit Anne Arundel County around 10 p.m. Saturday night. The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 2.2 magnitude quake at 10:07 p.m.

The epicenter of the quake was located about one mile from Crownsville, Md. The U.S.G.S. estimates the quake could be felt as far as three miles from the center. No damage has been reported.
