WASHINGTON — Veloce, the fast-casual pizza spot in Northwest D.C., opened this week with an unusual offering: breakfast pizza. And as you might expect, that means it’s open earlier than most pizza establishments: 7 a.m. this week, 8 a.m. after that.

Veloce, from Ruth Gresser, the founder of Pizza Paradiso, is at 1828 L St., NW.
