Body pulled from Potomac River

WASHINGTON — Authorities found a body in the Potomac River Monday morning.

D.C. Fire and EMS says a crew retrieved the body from the channel that runs between the Roosevelt Island and the Virginia shoreline around 6:45 a.m.

At this point, police aren’t even sure of the person’s gender.
