D.C. man found fatally shot in Northeast

WASHINGTON — A 25-year-old D.C. man was found fatally shot in Northeast Monday afternoon.

Police responding to the sound of gunshots in the 6100 block of Clay Street in Northeast D.C. found a man on the ground, unconscious, with multiple gunshot wounds in the 300 block of 61st Street.

The man died at a local hospital. He has been identified as 25-year-old Rico Myers of D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
