Big Train Looking For Host Families — Bethesda Big Train, the collegiate summer league team that plays in Cabin John Regional Park, is looking for families to host its players from late May to late July or early August. BUP Looking For Board Member — The Bethesda Urban Partnership has an opening on its Board of Directors. BUP does maintenance, streetscape and event planning for downtown Bethesda and runs the Bethesda Circulator shuttle. The position on the Board is for three years and unpaid, though travel reimbursement is offered. The BUP Board meets the third Tuesday of every other month at 7:45 a.m., except in August and December. Applicants should provide a brief cover letter and resume to County Executive Isiah Leggett’s office (101 Monroe St., 2nd Floor, Rockville, MD 20850) or by email to countyexecutive.boards[at]montgomerycountymd[dot]gov.

Glen Echo Glass Gallery Show — The Art Glass Center Gallery at Glen Echo Park (7300 MacArthur Blvd.) is putting on a special show from March 15-30 with an open house reception on March 15 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Six Gallery artists will put their works on display from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Basketball Playoffs Postponed — Snow on Monday means no school on Monday, which also means none of the high school basketball playoff games set for Monday will happen. Montgomery County games have been moved to Tuesday, assuming schools re-open. [Washington Post]
