WASHINGTON - A Kansas man has been penalized for having a bit too much Christmas spirit.
David Hill reportedly decked out his pickup truck with nearly 900 Christmas lights, and says it's brought smiles to the faces of many, according to KAKE TV.
But police in Wichita say the truck poses a safety problem, and gave Hill a ticket - along with a fine.
Hill says he doesn't want the ticket to create a negative situation, and is hoping it will bring more awareness to his efforts to collect donated clothes for the homeless.
