Weekly Crime Report: April 29 to May 7

Police made three arrests in two late-April residential burglary cases:

residential burglary occurred in the 4600 block of Windsor Lane, Bethesda on Tuesday, 4/30 at approximately 4:30 a.m.  Unforced entry; nothing taken.

Arrested: Male, age 31, from Washington, DC

A residential burglary occurred in the 10000 block of Sinnott Court, Bethesda on Tuesday, 4/30.  Unknown entry; unknown what was taken.

Arrested: Male, age 33, from Silver Spring; Male, age 20, from Silver Spring.

Two commercial office burglaries were reported this week in this Bethesda beat:

In the 4800 block of Rugby Road overnight from Tuesday, 4/30 to Wednesday, 5/1.  Forced entry; property taken.

Suspect: B/M, age 20-30.

In the 4500 block of Montgomery Avenue on Thursday, 5/2 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.  Unknown entry; property taken.

Suspect: B/M, 6’ & 175 lbs., with black braids.

A commercial burglary occurred at Tip to Toes, 7711 Woodmont Avenue, Bethesda overnight from Sunday, 5/5 to Monday, 5/6.  Forced entry; property taken.

Two thefts from vehicles occurred during evening hours on different days in commercial lots/garages (one on St Elmo Avenue and on Arlington Road) in Bethesda.  Unknown entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault occurred at The Gap, 5430 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda on Tuesday, 4/30 at approximately 11:00 a.m.  The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon, then fled.

Suspect: B/M, 25, 5’8”, 145, crew cut.

Two residential burglaries occurred on Wednesday, 5/1 in the 5200 block of Albemarle Street, Bethesda:

Between midnight and 6:00 a.m., forced entry; property taken.

Between 2:00 a.m. and 7:15 p.m., forced entry; property taken.

Two residential burglaries occurred in this Bethesda beat on Tuesday, 4/30:

In the 6000 block of Landon Lane between 10:45 a.m. and 2:40 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

In the 6200 block of Perthshire Court between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.  Unforced entry; property taken.

Two commercial burglaries occurred at Montgomery Mall, 7101 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda sometime between Tuesday, 4/30 and Wednesday, 5/1.  Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6100 block of Lux Lane, North Bethesda on Wednesday, 5/1 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the 9500 block of Newbridge Drive, Potomac on Thursday, 5/2 between 12:20 p.m. and 4:20 p.m.  Forced entry; property taken.

A theft occurred at Bank of America, 10217 Falls Road, Potomac on Tuesday, 5/7 at approximately 1:40 a.m.

Two thefts from vehicles occurred sometime during the morning hours on Monday, 4/29 in the 8700 block of Crider Brook Way, Potomac.  Two unlocked cars were entered and valuables left inside were taken (laptop, purse, glasses).
