WASHINGTON - For many, Super Bowl food can be just as exciting as the game.
However, mindless munching can lead to a calorie count much higher than the score
displayed on the Jumbotron.
There are ways to enjoy the chips, chili and wings without wreaking havoc on your
waistline.
Focus on the geography: Don't sit near the food. Keep your distance from
the chip bowl and keep the mindless grazing at bay.
Fill your plate: Take a plate and fill it with the food you want. Eat
every bite slowly, and don't go back for seconds.
Watch the commercials: Don't use the commercials as an excuse to get up
and grab more when you've already had enough.
