WASHINGTON — UPDATE 6:30 p.m. Feb. 15: Many in the WTOP listening area were without power Sunday morning due to frigid winter weather and gusts of wind.
About 850 Dominion Virginia Power customers are without power in the Northern Virginia.
In Maryland, about 825 Pepco customers are without power in Montgomery County and 129 in Prince George’s County. About 3,449 were down in the District of Columbia.
BGE reports 170 customers are without power, with the majority in Anne Arundel County.
There is no word yet when power will be restored. WTOP listeners in need of the numbers to local power companies can text POWER to 91035.
