2017 NFL schedule: Washington Redskins are ready for prime time

WASHINGTON — The Washington Redskins have released their 2017 schedule, and it appears that the Burgundy and Gold are ready for prime time. 

Washington will be featured in five prime-time games, including a first-ever Thanksgiving game hosting the New York Giants, a Sunday night game against the Oakland Raiders and a Thursday night game against some team from Dallas.

It all kicks off when the Burgundy and Gold welcome the Philadelphia Eagles to FedEx Field on Sept. 10, and they’ll wrap it up New Year’s Eve at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

  • Oct. 15, 1 p.m.: 49ers
  • Oct. 23, 8:30 p.m.: @Eagles
  • Oct. 29, 4:25 p.m.: Cowboys
  • Nov. 5, 4:05 p.m.: @Seahawks
  • Nov. 12, 1 p.m.: Vikings
  • Nov. 19, 1 p.m.: @Saints
  • Nov. 23, 8:30 p.m.: Giants
  • Nov. 30, 8:25 p.m.: @Cowboys
  • Dec. 10, 4:05 p.m.: @Chargers
  • Dec. 17 1 p.m.: Cardinals
  • Dec. 24 1 p.m.: Broncos
  • Dec. 31 1 p.m.: @Giants

Preseason action begins Aug. 10 against the Baltimore Ravens. Other preseason foes will be Green Bay, Tampa Bay and Cincinnati. See more on the team’s website.
