WATCH: Sea of Caps fans fill streets outside Capital One Arena

WASHINGTON — The NBC Washington chopper got a rare aerial view of downtown D.C. Thursday as Caps fans gathered around Capital One Arena for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The Washington Capitals raised the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history after a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5. Fans took to the streets in celebration — see some highlights.
