WASHINGTON — Despite the Tampa Bay Lighting’s attempts to curb the capitol’s Capitals enthusiasm by enforcing a dress code at the finals games hosted in Florida, Washington is a bit more welcoming: The Caps just announced a free viewing party at Capital One Arena for Game 7 on Wednesday.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. with NBC Sports Washington pregame coverage shown in the arena bowl followed by full game coverage at 8 p.m.
And all playoff merchandise will be 25 percent off at the Team Store throughout the night.
Concession stands will be open as well.
It’s not required, but fans are encouraged to RSVP for the event on the team’s website.
