Caps beat Blue Jackets 6-3, advance to Eastern Conference Semifinals

WASHINGTON — The Washington Capitals complete the comeback, beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-3 to clinch their first round playoff series 4-games-to-2 after dropping the first two games.

Alex Ovechkin scored twice, becoming the first Caps player to record 50-career goals. The Capitals advance to the second round to play the Pittsburgh Penguins for the third straight year starting this weekend.
