DISPUTANTA, Va. (AP) — A Virginia woman has been sentenced to nearly five decades in prison for encouraging her half-brother to fatally shoot a man inside a busy Wendy’s restaurant.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that a judge on Thursday sentenced 19-year-old Norma Glover to 45 years for first-degree murder and three additional years for using a firearm in the commission of a crime.

Prosecutors said the September 2017 shooting of 20-year-old Coron Bond stemmed from a dispute between Glover and Bond’s girlfriend, who both worked at the Wendy’s. Prosecutors say Glover was heard pointing out Bond to 26-year-old Jules R. Moultrie III before Moultrie shot him.

Bond wasn’t involved in the dispute, and was shot while sitting at a table and looking at his phone.

Moultrie has been sentenced to life in prison.
