WASHINGTON — An Atlee, Virginia, high school senior had the stands in cheers — and maybe a few tears — at a recent Friday night football game when he scored an epic touchdown.
Sepp Shirey, who was born with cerebral palsy, ran an 80-yard touchdown. He said football has been his passion since the fourth grade, and he typically uses crutches on the field. His touchdown last week was the longest he’s ever run without them, he said. See video of his amazing feat.
