WASHINGTON — A youth pastor and a youth director are being accused of inappropriately touching 16-year-old girls at two different churches.
The first youth pastor, 25-year-old Jordan David Baird, of Warrenton, Virginia, is being accused of touching a 16-year-old girl inappropriately and sending her inappropriate text messages at the Life Church in Manassas, Virginia, Prince William County Police said.
The investigation revealed that the suspect sent the victim inappropriate text messages and touched her inappropriately on more than one occasion between January and September of 2015.
Detectives from the Special Victims Unit first responded to investigate inappropriate contact on July 7. Baird was arrested on Aug. 17 and is being charged with two counts of indecent liberties by a custodian. He is being held on a $10,000 secured bond, police said.
The second involves the youth director at a Nokesville church. According to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office, the man is being accused of inappropriately touching a 16-year-old girl. The incident occurred at the Greenwich Presbyterian Church in Nokesville, Virginia, and at the accused’s home address in Fauquier County, according to officials.
The accused, Derrick Ryan Trump, 28, of Centreville, Virginia, was located and arrested at his new residence in Fairfax, Virginia, on Aug. 16. He is being held on a $3,500 secured bond, police said.
