RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Several presidential hopefuls will be courting Virginia voters in person ahead of the March 1 primary.
Democrat Hillary Clinton’s campaign said Thursday she will visit Northern Virginia and the Hampton Roads area on Monday, a day before the primary. Her rival, Bernie Sanders, was in Norfolk for a rally earlier this week.
Republicans will also be visiting the Old Dominion. Marco Rubio’s campaign has planned four stops in Virginia on Sunday. Donald Trump plans to be at Radford University on Monday and was in Virginia Beach at Regent University on Wednesday.
Ted Cruz and Ben Carson are also scheduled to visit Regent ahead of the primary.
The Old Dominion is one of several states voting on the so-called Super Tuesday primary.
