Orange County animal rescue overwhelmed after raids

WASHINGTON — An animal rescue group in Orange County, Virginia is looking for donations after a series of police raids have brought an influx of animals into their care.

According to Rikki’s Refuge in Rapidan, they are overwhelmed right now with more than a thousand animals, including goats, dogs, birds and about 70 feral cats.  While the shelter is always busy, things have gotten hectic lately.
