D.C. is about to follow other cities, including Arlington, in replacing incandescent street lighting with LED lights — a decision that’s getting a lot of reaction from residents.
“A lot of people find (the lights) very disorienting. They also worry about interruption of sleep cycles with that blue light,” D.C. Council member Mary Cheh said.
