FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — Nico Galette scored 22 points as Sacred Heart beat Cent. Conn. St. 78-65 on Saturday.
Galette shot 9 of 12 from the field and 3 for 4 from the line for the Pioneers (13-13, 6-5 Northeast Conference). Tanner Thomas went 6 of 6 from the field to add 15 points. Bryce Johnson shot 6 of 8 from the field to finish with 13 points.
The Blue Devils (6-19, 4-7) were led by Andre Snoddy, who recorded 20 points and six rebounds. Cent. Conn. St. also got 10 points and two blocks from Abdul Momoh. In addition, Kellen Amos had nine points.
