UIC faces Northwestern after Carter’s 22-point game

BOTTOM LINE: UIC plays the Northwestern Wildcats after Jace Carter scored 22 points in UIC’s 81-73 victory over the Northeastern Huskies.

The Wildcats are 5-1 on their home court. Northwestern is ninth in the Big Ten with 13.7 assists per game led by Boo Buie averaging 4.3.

The Flames are 2-2 in road games. UIC is fifth in the MVC shooting 33.7% from downtown. Jaden Brownell leads the Flames shooting 47.4% from 3-point range.
