Giants 7
Eagles 27
Look, I get that this is a results based business and style points don’t matter…but seven combined turnovers? Give Philly credit for beating the Giants for the 10th time in 13 meetings and snatching a piece of first place in the division…but the NFC East as a whole looks like a raging dumpster fire.
Oh, and NFL? Maybe get those clock issues cleaned up before next week’s Monday Nighter…

Redskins 20 Jets 34 I guess those Chris Ivory comparisons to Beast Mode weren’t hyperbole after all; Ivory is the first Jet in 30 years to rush for over 140 yards in consecutive games and he’s a big reason Gang Green is off to their best start in years. Oh, and if Todd Bowles still loves his former team he’ll follow up on a trade for Kirk Cousins so we can end the madness here once and for all. (Alex Goodlett/AP Images)

Broncos 26 Browns 23 (OT) Ok, let me get this straight: Peyton Manning has a woeful -3 TD/INT ratio (7/10), hadn’t won an overtime game since Week 16 of 2004 (lost 5 straight, including playoffs), and even threw a pick in the extra session to dig Denver an early hole … but the Broncos won and are 6-0 for the 7th time in franchise history. Five of those times they advanced to the Super Bowl. So basically Denver has morphed into the 2000 Ravens. And everyone outside the Midwest hates it. Speaking of the Ravens … their GM Ozzie Newsome was the last Browns tight end not named Gary Barnidge to score a touchdown in four straight games. Give that a minute to marinate. Texans 31 Jaguars 20 How bad is Jacksonville? They’re 1-5 or worse for the 5th straight season and let Brian Hoyer look like a Pro-Bowler in their building. It’s starting to look like another rebuild is coming to the River City. (AP Photo/Stephen B. Morton)

Dolphins 38 Titans 10 The Dan Campbell Era begins with a reshuffled locker room, a blowout win and some BS football. It may not be the football Miami deserves, but it’s the football it needs right now. (AP Photo/Mark Zaleski)

Panthers 27 Seahawks 23 Carolina was literally sleepless in Seattle but Cam Newton had more than enough energy to beat the Seahawks to sleep with a pair of 80-yard drives in the 4th quarter, keyed by his 12-of-15, 162 yard quarter. Considering the beating Russell Wilson is taking, this game might have marked a changing of the guard (or more likely, a hostile takeover) in the NFC. (AP Photo/Elaine Thompson)

Ravens 20 49ers 25 Though the lights stayed on for this Super Bowl rematch (and we may have been short a Harbaugh or two), Colin Kaepernick — who’s suddenly on a 602 yard, 4 TD, and 0 INT two week tear — turned the lights out on Baltimore’s season. (AP Photo/Ben Margot)

Patriots 34 Colts 27 New England didn’t exactly run up the score like Tom Brady’s dad wanted, but his kid did stay undefeated in five meetings with Andrew Luck and kept the Pats undefeated in five games for the first time since — you guessed it — 2007. You know, the last time they had a scandal to avenge. (AP Photo/John Minchillo)

Falcons 21 Saints 31 I know I just eulogized the Saints and still consider Atlanta a playoff team, but this was a predictable outcome. Drew Brees is 14-5 against the Falcons since coming to the Big Easy, and anytime history repeats itself with a franchise hero in the house, it makes for some nice déjà vu for the fleur de lis.
