WASHINGTON — Two men are being held without bond after four people were wounded in Tuesday’s drive-by BB gun shootings in Prince William County, Virginia.
Devaughn Rice, 19, and Robert Marshall, 22 — both of Woodbridge — were arrested at a Woodbridge residence following a tip to detectives. A BB gun was also recovered.
The first incident was reported at 12:45 p.m. near the intersection of Darbydale Avenue and Danville Road in Woodbridge. Three men who had been working in the area suffered minor wounds, and one was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Hours later at around 3:10 p.m., a similar incident was reported near the intersection of Sudley Manor and Sudley Roads in Manassas. The victim in that shooting also suffered minor injuries.
A red four-door sedan was described in each incident. Police said a red vehicle matching the description was parked near where Rice and Marshall were arrested.
Both suspects face two counts of malicious wounding, one count of attempted malicious wounding and one count of destruction of property.
They’re set to appear in court on Aug. 7.
