WASHINGTON — Four people were injured in a crash on Interstate 95 that closed the Express Lanes in Virginia for several hours Friday morning.
The crash occurred at 5:45 a.m. when a 2004 Ford Explorer ran off the left side of the wall and overturned twice at mile marker 159 near Woodbridge.
The passenger in the front seat was thrown from the car and flown to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Three other people were also sent to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
