WASHINGTON — Two schools have reopened after being under a “secure the building” status as Prince William County police looked for a man after an armed robbery.
The robbery at the Noblewood Plaza, in Woodbridge, Virginia, Thursday morning. As a precaution, entry was restricted to Gar-Field High School and Bel Air Elementary School.
There was no threat to either school. The schools resumed normal operations shortly before 11 a.m.
Gar-Field HS & Bel Air ES have lifted the secure the building status. Police gave the all clear. School activities will resume as usual.
