WASHINGTON — A man who bet just $5 is now a millionaire after winning over $1 million at a Maryland casino on Saturday.
Manuel Ortiz, of Laurel, Maryland, scooped $1,075,710 after hitting the Super 4 Blackjack Progressive jackpot at Live! Casino and Hotel in Hanover, Maryland.
Ortiz placed his $5 bet and went onto win at the Super 4 Blackjack table.
He won the money after playing for just under two hours, according to President of Stanton Communications, Lori. A Russo.
