Student stabbed at Prince George’s Co. high school

WASHINGTON — A student was stabbed after a verbal argument turned violent outside a Prince George’s County high school Monday.

Police arrived at Crossland High School in Temple Hills, Maryland, to investigate a stabbing that happened at 8 a.m.

Prince George’s County police spokesman Tyler Hunter said the 18-year-old student was walking outside with his class to work on a school project when he encountered an 18-year-old former student.

A fight ensued and the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife.

School security arrested the former student.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were described as not life-threatening.
