Police release video of Prince George’s Co. triple homicide suspect

WASHINGTON — Prince George’s County police on Monday released a video of the suspect wanted in Friday’s triple homicide in hopes of identifying the man.

The video shows a man running from the crime scene in the 3100 block of Orleans Avenue in Forestville, Maryland.

Police say the man acted alone when he shot five people — three of whom died — at the house around 9:30 p.m. Friday.

Based on a preliminary investigation, police said it does not appear that it was a random crime, and are working to determine a motive.

The victims of the shooting were identified as Carlina Renee Gray, 50, of District Heights; Jan Marie Parks, 55, of Landover; and Allen Rowlett, 60. The other two victims were critically hurt and remained hospitalized as of Monday.

About 30 minutes before the murders, the suspect stopped at a convenience store in the 7400 block of Marlboro Pike in Forestville.

Police are asking anyone who recognizes the suspect from the convenience store image or from the video to call the homicide unit at 301-772-4925. Police are offering up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
