WASHINGTON — Police say a man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Clinton, Maryland on Wednesday night.
It happened after 9 p.m. in the area of Piscataway Road, near Old Branch Avenue.
According to investigators, the vehicle involved was headed westbound on Piscataway Road when the victim was hit. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperating with investigators, according to investigators.
Police say they do not believe the pedestrian was in a crosswalk at the time of the incident.
No additional details have been released.
