WASHINGTON —Prince George’s County police are searching for a man suspected of assaulting a woman in Mitchellville in April.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for 34-year-old Suitland resident Michael Deangelo Harris.
Police say they believe Harris sexually assaulted a 19-year-old in the 11000 block of Lake Arbor Way at about 5:40 a.m. April 29.
In the assault, the suspect approached the victim as she was walking and forced her into a nearby field where he sexually assaulted her.
He implied he had a gun.
Harris is charged with first and second degree sexual offense and assault charges.
