WASHINGTON — Police in Prince George’s County, Maryland say they have arrested a suspect in connection with two separate sexual assaults that happened within two hours.
Twenty-two year old Al Louis Bell, of Silver Spring, is accused in an assault that occurred around 8:20 p.m. Friday, and another that happened around 10:10 p.m. Both incidents happened in Temple Hills.
Police say Bell knew the first victim, but did not know the second victim.
Detectives were able to quickly link both cases, and Bell was arrested Saturday morning in Alexandria, Virginia. Police say he confessed to his involvement in both cases.
Bell is charged with two counts of first degree rape, first degree assault and other related offenses.
