Sindy Benavides, C.E.O. of the League of Latin American Citizens says we have a lot of work to do to make the U.S. the “great melting pot” it claims to be. She says lack of food, financial security and access to technology for the Latino community keep her up at night, but says their growing numbers will eventually ensure they’ll overcome their challenges.
