WASHINGTON – Say hello to Figaro.
This 9-week-old puppy arrived from down South with several littermates, who Washington Animal Rescue League veterinary staff quickly discovered had been exposed to Parvovirus, a contagious and potentially deadly viral infection.
Figaro and his siblings were quarantined, and fortunately none of them became sick.
Figaro is thought to be a pit bull mix.
Now that they’ve been given the medical “all clear,” they’re eagerly awaiting homes of their own, where they will be loved, exercised, trained
