WASHINGTON — The world’s best are convening for a display of skill and competition of the highest level this week. No, not at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro — at the World Yo-Yo Contest in Cleveland, Ohio.
And, yes, it’s being live streamed.
The three day event, run by the International Yo-Yo Federation, is aimed at enthusiasts of the age-old toy. Visitors are able to learn skills, trade yo-yos, and watch the professionals duke it out on stage.
The event runs through Saturday, August 6, when many of the finals will take place. Click here for a complete schedule.
