TURNOVER DIFFERENTIAL: Chiefs minus-2; Eagles minus-1.

CHIEFS PLAYER TO WATCH: Three-time All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce already has 20 catches for 289 yards and three TDs. He’s facing a defense with suspect linebackers that struggle in coverage against tight ends.

EAGLES PLAYER TO WATCH: Running back Miles Sanders ranks third in the NFL since his rookie season in 2019 with 4.9 average yards per run. He only carried twice against the Cowboys but gained 27 yards. The Eagles plan to give Sanders more carries this week.

KEY MATCHUP: Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill vs. Eagles CB Darius Slay. Hill had 197 yards in Week 1 against Cleveland but has eight catches for 70 yards in the past two games. He’s facing one of the top cornerbacks in the league and a defensive coordinator who prefers to keep his safeties deep to prevent big plays.

KEY INJURIES: The Eagles lost LG Isaac Seumalo for the season, so they’ll be missing three of their starting offensive linemen. … Chiefs DE Frank Clark (hamstring) and CB Charvarius Ward (quad) were limited in practice to start the week after sitting out the last game. CB Rashad Fenton is in concussion protocol.

SERIES NOTES: The Chiefs have won the last two meetings with coach Andy Reid beating Chip Kelly, the man who replaced him in Philadelphia, and Doug Pederson, his protege. Reid has more wins than any coach in Eagles history. … Eagles three-time All-Pro C Jason Kelce is Travis Kelce’s older brother.

STATS AND STUFF: The Chiefs have a losing record under Reid for the first time since they were 4-5 in 2015. … Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was 11-0 in September before losing to the Ravens in Week 2. He hadn’t thrown an interception in September until this year. … RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for a season-high 100 yards and had a TD catch last week. … Travis Kelce aims for his third straight 100-yard receiving game. … DT Chris Jones had a career-best three sacks and two forced fumbles in last meeting vs. Philadelphia. … Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw his first two picks of the season last week before tossing two TD passes late in a lopsided loss. … Eagles RBs had three carries last week, a franchise low. … Rookie WR DeVonta Smith has two straight games with less than 30 yards receiving. … Jason Kelce will start his 109th consecutive regular-season game, longest by any NFL center since Chris Myers reached 123 from 2007-14. … K Jake Elliott needs two field goals to move into second place on the franchise’s all-time list behind David Akers.

FANTASY TIP: Mahomes should follow up Dak Prescott’s stellar performance against the Eagles with one of his own. Prescott completed 21 of 26 passes for 238 yards and three TDs vs. Philadelphia.
