WASHINGTON — We actually have some rain chances around the NFL this weekend. It is a great weekend, because not only to we have Sunday game, we have Saturday games as well! Winds will not be too much of a problem (like we have had in the past) and we are mainly looking at liquid precip across the U.S. as opposed to any snow.
SATURDAY 4:25 p.m.
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins, FedEx Field: It is going to be a quiet day for the NFC East matchup. Temperatures will fall through the lower 40s and into the 30s during the afternoon. Sunset is at 4:49 p.m., with clouds sticking around through much of the late afternoon and evening. Winds will be light and not an issue.
Saturday 8:25 p.m.
San Diego Chargers at San Francisco 49ers, Levi’s Stadium: Besides a few sprinkles most of this game will turn out dry, however, there will be plenty of clouds around. Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-10 mph with temperatures very comfortable, in the mid to upper 50s for the duration of the game.
Sunday 1:00 p.m.
Minnesota Vikings at Miami Dolphins, Sun Life Stadium: A wonderful day in Miami with temperatures in the mid-70s. There will be more clouds than sunshine but remaining dry. There will be a noticeable breeze out of the east around 10 mph.
Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears, Solider Field: This should be a pretty chilly one in the Windy City. Temperatures will stick in the upper 30s for the game however, it will feel much cooler than that with a breezy south wind at 10-20 mph. There will be overcast skies in Chi-town on Sunday, but on the dry side.
Cleveland Browns at Carolina Panthers, Bank of America Stadium: Rain will most likely hold off for this game until the evening hours, however there is about a 10% chance of a few light showers. Clouds will be on the increase through the game with temperatures only in the upper 40s! Winds will be light, out of the east around 5 mph.
Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Raymond James Stadium: The battle of the bays will feature around a 40% chance of showers through the game. There could be a few peeks of sunshine but mostly clouds around (especially if they get some rain during the game). Temperatures will be warm, in the mid-70s. Winds will roll out of the south at 5-10 mph.
New England Patriots at New York Jets, MetLife Stadium: There will be a slight chance of a few flakes or some sprinkles but nothing too bad. Temperatures will top out in the lower 40s through the game and stay there. Expect light winds with mostly cloudy skies.
4:25 p.m.
Buffalo Bills at Oakland Raiders, O.co Coliseum: It will be a very mild day in Oakland with temperatures in the mid-60s and a mix of sun and clouds. Winds will be out of the West-Northwest at 5-10 mph. No problems here!
Monday 8:30 p.m.
Denver Broncos at Cincinnati Bengals, Paul Brown Stadium: We will have to keep our eyes on some scattered rain showers through the day. There could be a few during the game as well! Temperatures will hang out in the lower 40s for much of the game with overcast skies. A light wind shouldn’t be a problem but with temperatures around the 40 degree mark, we will have to watch precipitation type if anything does fall during the game.
