On a per-share basis, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company said it had net income of 44 cents.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 44 cents per share.
The natural gas distribution posted revenue of $379.1 million in the period, missing Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $382.7 million.
ONE Gas expects full-year earnings to be $4.34 to $4.40 per share.
