The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.04 per share.
The auto parts supplier posted revenue of $969 million in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $949.1 million.
Visteon expects full-year revenue in the range of $3.7 billion to $3.85 billion.
