The Independence, Ohio-based company said it had profit of 66 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 95 cents per share.
The provider of outsourced business services posted revenue of $683.5 million in the period.
CBIZ expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.60 to $3.65 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.8 billion to $2.95 billion.
